I occasionally write for a dreadful 'satirical celebrity news' website, but am so often busy doing 'real' things that I miss deadlines for breaking news.
Even so. Not a single website or tabloid newspaper in the land yesterday actually had the thought of publishing the headline-
George Micheal Goes Down.
Not one? Seriously.
I would have, but was doing my real job and didn't have time (easy to think of these things 24 hours later I know but I really did) - what is wrong with this country? Because that was a GIFT to any half-decent sub-editor or contributor to snarky websites.
Pull your socks up people.

That would have been a wonderful"headline" as it were..
I agree, why did they miss it? are they getting too PC?
Maybe too subtle.
They could always try:
"George Michael buys giant tub of Vaseline"
I'm in Oz and used to watch a TV show about a tabloid newspaper. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the show... but they did used to have a front-page headline on the wall which said "STOLEN PAINTING FOUND BY TREE". I also quite liked "HOSPITAL SUED BY 7 FOOT DOCTORS"
